DeepChatBI Product Evolution — Version 3.8

Shopify install hardening, Klaviyo ad-decision data layer, pixel monitoring with DQC, and multi-channel connector expansion—closing the loop from onboarding to daily budget moves.

Version 3.8 strengthens the ad decision spine for Shopify brands: faster onboarding, cleaner data, reliable pixels, and the Klaviyo + paid-media context operators need before they ship a budget move.

Strategic Milestone: Install → Workspace → Decisions

ProfitOS onboarding now routes merchants directly into the workspace after Shopify install—no detour through a generic login screen.

What improved:

  • Silent post-install auth: Embedded Shopify sessions bind to the correct operator account instead of creating duplicates
  • Connection metadata reliability: Ingestion records and warehouse mirrors stay in sync when stores reconnect or update credentials
  • Billing state consistency: Subscription updates reflect immediately after checkout

The benefit: Merchants go from App Store install to Ad Decision Center in minutes—not days of IT follow-up.

Klaviyo + Ad Decision Data Layer

Lifecycle and paid media no longer live in separate mental models. This release extends the data warehouse and product surface for Klaviyo-aware ad decisions.

Warehouse & ontology

  • Klaviyo event facts and gold-layer marketing subjects for cross-channel analysis
  • Ontology alignment so email, ads, and Shopify orders share one decision vocabulary

Product surfaces

  • New Klaviyo reporting views in the workspace
  • User-journey detail panels with reactivation and recommendation lists tied to paid acquisition context

The shift: Retention signals inform where the next ad dollar goes—not a separate retention dashboard.

Pixel Reliability & Data Quality (DQC)

Ad decisions are only as good as the events beneath them. Version 3.8 invests in observable, recoverable tracking.

Frontend & backend pixel split

  • Dedicated FE pixel service with CI/CD, decoupled from core app releases
  • Backend pixel configuration migrated under unified DeepChatBI control (formerly scattered ProfitOS settings)

Monitoring & DQC

  • Pixel ingestion alerts for ops and engineering
  • Data Quality Control checks on pull pipelines—failed loads surface before they pollute MER/POAS
  • Batch landing pattern: normalized crawl/API outputs staged locally, then loaded to the warehouse on schedule

The benefit: When a campaign looks wrong, operators trust the signal—not wonder if the pixel broke.

Multi-Channel Connector Expansion

We continued P1 connector work so Google & Meta are not the only levers in the Ad Decision Center.

Progress this cycle:

  • Snapchat: Approved and integration underway
  • Amazon Ads (NA): Review submitted; data acquisition path in development
  • Reddit & Criteo: Application materials submitted; awaiting platform review
  • LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Twitter/X: Review pipelines initiated

CRM & outbound infrastructure:

  • Merchant directory scale-up (structured catalog for ICP-targeted outreach)
  • Email Agent pipeline for segmented, report-backed cold outreach—without blasting undifferentiated templates

AI Pipeline & ChatBI Hardening

  • AI pipeline scheduling and retry for failed agent tasks
  • ChatBI metric configuration edge cases and bad-case fallbacks
  • Agent analysis depth improvements for campaign and budget questions

Official Site & Design System

The marketing site narrative now matches the product: Shopify ad decisions, not generic BI.

  • Homepage repositioned around Ad Decision Center and traffic-light budget moves
  • Design system iteration with showcase pages rolling out incrementally
  • FE tracking for key conversion paths (install, demo, workspace entry)

Team & Operating Rhythm

  • Data warehouse capacity expanded to support Klaviyo gold subjects and connector volume
  • H2 OKR planning aligned GTM, product, and data roadmap around daily ad decisions for Shopify DTC

Infrastructure & Security

  • Code review standards documented across FE/BE
  • Nginx proxy hardening for third-party enrichment APIs used in CRM workflows
  • Server and pixel alert routing with acknowledgment flows for on-call clarity

What's Coming in Version 3.9

  • TikTok + Meta ontology and Action reports in Profit World Model
  • Ad Decision Agent focus restored after Klaviyo recall maintenance mode
  • Long-lived Meta auth and outbound (LinkedIn / cold email) instrumentation
  • DataLab isolation and ChatBI/pixel reliability for operator trust
