Data Deletion & User Data Removal Policy

DeepChatBI is committed to protecting user privacy and complying with Meta Platform Terms and applicable data protection regulations, including GDPR and other privacy laws.

This page explains how users can request deletion of their data and how Facebook-related data removal is processed.

1. How to Request Account & Data Deletion

If you would like to delete your DeepChatBI account and associated data, you may:

Option A – Email Request

  • Send a deletion request to:
  • info@deepchatbi.com
  • Please include:
  • • Your full name
  • • Email associated with your DeepChatBI account
  • • Connected Facebook Ad Account ID (if applicable)
  • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"

Option B – Facebook App Removal

  • If you signed in using Facebook Login:
  • 1. Go to your Facebook profile
  • 2. Navigate to: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
  • 3. Select DeepChatBI
  • 4. Click Remove
  • 5. Click Send Request to trigger data deletion
  • Once this request is submitted, Meta will send a signed data deletion callback request to our system.

2. What Happens After a Deletion Request

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, DeepChatBI will:

  • Delete your user account
  • Remove stored Facebook access tokens
  • Delete advertising analytics data retrieved via Meta Marketing API
  • Remove user identifiers and metadata
  • Disconnect all connected ad accounts

Deletion is processed within 30 days of verification.

3. Facebook Data Deletion Callback

DeepChatBI implements a secure HTTPS Data Deletion Callback endpoint as required by Meta.

  • When a user removes the app and requests data deletion:
  • Meta sends a signed POST request to our callback URL
  • The request includes the App-Scoped User ID (ASID)
  • We verify the request signature
  • We delete all data associated with that user ID
  • We generate a confirmation code
  • We return a JSON response in the required format:

Users may visit the provided URL to view the status of their deletion request.

4. Confirmation & Status Tracking

Each deletion request is assigned a unique confirmation code.

Users may check deletion status at:

https://www.deepchatbi.com/deletion-status

If deletion is denied (e.g., legal retention obligations), the reason will be clearly stated.

5. Data Retention Exceptions

Certain data may be retained where required by:

  • Legal obligations
  • Financial record-keeping requirements
  • Fraud prevention or security investigations
  • Regulatory compliance

Such retained data will be limited strictly to what is legally required.
